Terms and Conditions
In these Terms and Conditions "we" and "us" mean Hoot Invitations ABN 60181120193 and "you" and "the client" means you the customer. The Hoot Invitations online email address is alisha@hootinvitations.com.au

These Terms and Conditions together with your order constitute the entire contract between us and you for the supply of products. No other Terms and Conditions will apply. The Contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by email.

 

Our guarantee
Hoot Invitations is determined to ensure you are happy and satisfied with your order. Please notify us immediately by email at alisha@hootinvitations.com.au if you have any problems with your order.

Prices
Hoot Invitations reserves the right to change prices without notification for products displayed on our online site at any time. The price payable for the goods shall be the price applicable on the date the goods are ordered. We will endeavour display the most current prices but errors may occur.

Currency
All prices are shown in Australian dollars.

GST

All prices on the Hoot Invitations website do not include GST as we are not currently required to be registered for GST.


Payment methods and processing
Hoot Invitations currently accepts Credit Cards and Direct Deposits via Paypal.

 

Colours
Colours can vary from those shown on your computer. Ordering a sample of your chosen invitation is recommended.

 

Privacy policy
To protect your privacy, you can visit the Hoot Invitations website without identifying yourself or having to reveal any information about yourself.

How we handle customer information
We do not collect personal information when you visit our site unless you log on, place an order or register with us.

When you place an order you will be asked for the following personal information: your name, contact details, email address, billing address and shipping address. We may share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order.
We do not share, sell, rent or barter any identifiable personal information to any third party.

When you submit feedback or questions via email, or contact us for information about our website, we will request your name and email address. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiries.

As the Australian Federal Government introduces new privacy legislation - Hoot Invitations privacy policies will be reviewed and updated as appropriate.

Our liability
We will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise.

Our maximum aggregate liability for any products supplied to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to us in respect of the products(s) in question.

 

Availability & Back Orders

All products listed are listed in good faith that the products will be available for sale. Unfortunately, from time to time, products may be temporarily, or even permanently unavailable. We will not be held liable for any damages, in any form, as a result of failure to supply any goods or service, regardless of the reason.

In the event we cannot supply a particular item, you will be advised of an estimated availability for you to re-order. 

 

Proofs

A proof via email will be sent within 2-3 working days upon receipt of full payment and submission of guest information. Changes or corrections to your proofs will be issued via email.
Final responsibility for approving all information rests with the client. A confirmed approval by the client agrees the order, layout and text of the proof is correct and final, changes after this will incur an additional charge.
Client errors that have been approved on the final proof will only be reprinted at your expense. If you receive an item that has been misprinted from the original proof it will be re-printed and posted ASAP at no additional charge.

 

Ownership of photography

By supplying images to Hoot Invitations for use in stationery, you certify that you are the parent or guardian of the baby or child, or have obtained the consent of the parent or guardian to use the photos provided and you have the rights to use any information and / or pictures supplied by yourself.

Professionally Taken Photographs

Professional images that are provided to you by a professional photographer may be protected by copyright laws and cannot be reproduced without permission from the photographer. Hoot Invitations will credit photographers on stationery upon request.

By supplying images to Hoot Invitations you agree to hold harmless and to indemnify Hoot Invitations and its agents, for all liability, damages, and expenses it may incur as a result of processing and printing copy written photographs and reproductions, including any other person claiming an interest in the photos. Hoot Invitations reserves the right to refuse to use images and cancel your order if we suspect the images may infringe on
someone else's copyright.

 

Copyright

All product designs and information are the sole property of Hoot Invitations. Reproducing and/or copying any designs and information from this site without written permission from Hoot Invitations is a violation of copyright laws. Hoot Invitations holds ownership and copyright of all designs whether custom or existing.
Hoot Invitations reserves the right to use custom-designed pieces for future themes and layouts. All stationery pieces may include a very small copyright credit '©www. hootinvitations.com.au' printed on the item. The credit is positioned not to interfere with the overall look of the stationery.

Is there somewhere I can view the products in person?

All our items are available for viewing and purchase online. We do not have a physical show room- instead our website is our ultimate show room. All pictures and detailed descriptions of each product are readily available on the website. If you have any further questions regarding any of our items, please don't hesitate to contact us. To see and feel our products in person, we suggest you order a sample before ordering in bulk.

Delivery times
On average it takes about 1-3 weeks to deliver our products once we have received all your information. We will keep you informed regarding any delays.
